Introduction
The year 2022 proved to be a successful and momentous one for the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC). The Court’s role in promoting increased access to Qatar’s legal system ensured greater ease of doing business and more efficient dispute resolution mechanisms
The Court followed through on its commitment towards Qatar's vision of providing better services for businesses and creating a stimulating business environment to attract international organisations.
QICDRC continued to uphold its key position among local and international forums while making new strides in the country’s legal and judicial environment through thought-provoking discussions and innovative measures.
The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ not only cemented Qatar’s position as a country that can surpass all expectations when it comes to hosting a successful global tournament, but it also provided opportunities for the Court to collaborate with the leading international body, The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), in the arena of sporting disputes.
We extend our gratitude to our local and international partners, and look ahead to continuing our role in the development and growth of Qatar as a destination for world-class commercial dispute resolution.
