In a judgment dated 9 June 2026, the Qatar Financial Centre Civil and Commercial Court Appellate Division, presided over by Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Sir William Blair, and Dr. Hassan Al-Sayyed, refused Al Plus Holdings LLC's application for permission to appeal against an Order recognizing the Joint Liquidators of RTI Limited. The court declared the application totally without merit and stated that Al Plus had no standing to challenge the Order under article 163 of the QFC Insolvency Regulations. The request for oral submissions by counsel was also denied.
