Summary
The Qatar Financial Centre Civil and Commercial Court stayed proceedings to refer a dispute between the Claimant and Defendant to arbitration per their contract's clause 4. The Claimant had sought a refund of QAR 30,000 for services allegedly not performed by the Defendant. The Court determined that the arbitration clause was binding and required disputes to be resolved outside of court. The Claimant was ordered to pay the Defendant's costs related to the application.
