His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Malki has been assigned as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry by Amiri Decree No. (1) of 2024.
Prior to this appointment, his excellency held the position of Assistant Undersecretary for Trade Affairs since March 2023, and he also served as Assistant Undersecretary for Industrial Affairs in 2019.
In addition to his roles within the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, his excellency has held numerous leadership positions in the fields of strategic planning, business development, and relationship management. His most recent positions include being the Head of Business Planning and Development Affairs at the Economic Zones Company (Manateq) and Head of Strategic Planning Department at the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA). He has also held various other positions in fields such as specifications, standards, planning, and geographic information systems in water networks.
It is worth mentioning that his excellency holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom in 2012, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Qatar University in 2002.

• Member of the Board of Directors of Qatar University Holdings Company
• Member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Central Bank.
• Member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Free Zones.
• Member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Financial Centre
