QICDRC published an opinion article by Registrar Umar Azmeh on the recent updates to the Rules and Procedures of the QFC Civil and Commercial Court.
These amendments, introduced following the publication of the Official Gazette on 4 June 2025 pursuant to Law No. 39 of 2025 and Law No. 40 of 2025, also extend to the QFC Regulatory Tribunal.
The updated Rules are designed to ensure that litigation before the Court proceeds as smoothly and efficiently as possible, while reinforcing QICDRC’s role as a key part of Qatar’s legal and judicial system.
They introduce greater procedural clarity, strengthen efficiency, and support timely access to justice in line with international best practice.
