WIPO Workshop on ADR in Intellectual Property Disputes

QICDRC participated in a workshop on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Intellectual Property (IP) disputes on 25 February 2025 at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) headquarters in Geneva, supporting WIPO’s initiatives aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16.

During the first panel, QICDRC highlighted key features of Qatar Arbitration Law – Law No. 2 of 2017 – and its relevance to IP disputes, reaffirming its commitment to international best practices and the objectives of its Memorandum of Understanding with WIPO on awareness, mediation, and capacity-building.
