Regional New York Convention Roadshow – Riyadh International Disputes Week 2025

QICDRC participated in the Regional New York Convention Roadshow, held as part of Riyadh International Disputes Week 2025 (RIDW25).

Justice Sir William Blair, Justice Dr Georges Affaki, and Registrar Umar Azmeh took part in panel discussions focused on the future of the New York Convention in the Arab region, including the enforcement of arbitral awards and key public policy considerations.

The event, co-hosted by the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), the Saudi Centre for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA), and the Gulf Cooperation Council Secretariat General (GCCSG), brought together legal experts and arbitration professionals from across the region.

QICDRC’s participation reinforced its commitment to advancing global legal dialogue and strengthening the framework for international arbitration.
