The Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC) participated in the conference entitled “The Role of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Intellectual Property (IP) Protection and Innovation in Advancing Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) for Sustainable Development), co-organised by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Hamad Bin Khalifa University.
QICDRC contributed to two panel discussions, focusing on Efficiency of Mediation and Arbitration in Resolving IP and Technology Disputes and Litigation in Intellectual Property (IP) Disputes and Court-referred Mediation. Both panels highlighted the growing importance of effective dispute resolution frameworks in fostering innovation and creating an investor-friendly environment.
