Annual Review 2025 - The Court - Legal Clinic Details

Legal Clinic

The QICDRC Legal Clinic, launched in October 2024, continued to develop in 2025, further strengthening access to justice by providing legal assistance to individuals and companies with civil and commercial matters beyond the Court’s jurisdiction. In 2025, the Legal Clinic received more than 130 requests for assistance, reflecting growing awareness of the initiative and demand for early legal guidance.

In 2025, the Legal Clinic operated with a panel of 11 volunteer law firms, comprising 6 local Qatari law firms and 5 international law firms, all headquartered in Doha. The panel was selected through a competitive process and deliberately structured to include a mix of local and international expertise, ensuring that a wide range of civil and commercial legal issues can be effectively addressed. The panel included the following local law firms: Mashael Al-Sulaiti Law Firm, Essa Al-Sulaiti Law Firm, Ahmed Ali Al-Hail Advocates & Legal Consultants, AlMajd Law Firm, Dr Reem Al-Ansari Law Firm, and Taqneen Law Firm and Legal Consultants. The international panel firms comprised Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP, Badri and Salim ElMeouchi Law Firm, D&C Legal Services LLC, Al Tamimi & Co., and GLA & Co.

To recognise its contribution to pro bono at the QICDRC in 2025, the Mashael Al-Sulaiti Law Firm was awarded the QICDRC Pro Bono Award 2025.
